HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR LIFE GOAL

We all have goals in our life whether they are big or small. We all want sucess in our life whether it needs hard work or courage. Everyone wants to achieve success in their life and do something big... isn't it ? But the question is - are we really focusing on our goals ...? Or are we really hard working for our success ...?  Age 20-25 is the age in which we all need to set up our careers, we all need to hard work of our success or we all need to put our efforts in the things which can make us proud and successful in the future. 
Well... some people are still confused how to achieve their goals, their target of life or how to make their dream come true. They know their goal of life but doesn't know how to achieve it, they doesn't know what process to follow to accomplish their goal.


So, here i am listing 4 such ways to focus on for achieving your life goal : 

1. Make your goal specific
You need to be clear and specific about your goal. You need to set a proper goal to achieve. Some people are not even clear about their goal, one day they are like "I want to become an entrepreneur" and another day they are "I want to become a motivational speaker" (just for an assumption). People with such mindsets are so confused regarding their future. They are not even clear about want they want in future or in which position they want themselves to see. To focus on your goal, firstly your goal must be clear and well-defined in your mind. If your goal is clear, you can focus better to achieve it. If you are still confused what to choose as your life goal, then ask yourself that what you want in future, where you want to see yourself in your future, what are you interested in for which you can put your efforts. Ask yourself that what is valuable and important to you, then set a goal that is motivating. For setting a proper and achievable goal, it is most important that your goal should motivate you. This means make sure your goal reminds you that it is important for you to achieve. A goal must have the higher priority in your life. People with so many goals can't focus on each one of them, they put very little time on each goal and often end up with disappointment by saying "I can't achieve anything in my life." , "Success is not for me". By setting a proper goal your mind will be clear on which point to focus on, as it is also said in a quote "A goal properly set is halfway reached". Make a goal that is worth achieving. 


2. Make sure you have interest in your goal
To achieve your goal you must be interested in doing things that are related to your goal. You can't put your efforts or hard work on your goal until and unless you are really interested in it. As take for an example, you are healthy (fat) and you want to lose your weight this year. This is a small goal in your life which you want to achieve. Everyone said that you need to go to the gym and do some excercises to lose your weight. You have no interest in going to the gym daily and doing some painful excercises. Still... to manage your weight you go to the gym regularly but with no interest. You are forcefully doing gyming and excercises, you are forcefully putting your efforts in a thing that you don't like at all. Eventually, one day you will get frustrated and stop going to the gym because you have no interest in excercising. You have only interest in losing your weight, you have only interest in looking slim and fit, you have only interest in the result or outcome of achieving the goal but you have no interest in the process of doing it. Despite from gyming, you are interested in playing badminton. Badminton is one of the most favourite outdoor game of yours (just assume). You started researching that playing badminton also loses weight through running and sweating. Now you daily play 1 hour of badminton.... the process in which you are completely interested in, the process in which everything is fun and entertaining to you. After few months you lose your weight through a fun loving excercise called badminton. Because you were interested in the procedure of losing weight as well as you were also interested in losing your weight and looking fit.
Having interest in the process of achieving a goal and having interest in the result, outcome or the success of your goal....they both have a lot of difference. So make sure you are totally interested in the process of achieving your goal and interested in the result of your goal too. 

3. Set a time-bound for your goal
Setting a time-bound for your goal can easily succeed you in achieving your goal. Setting a time-bound means your goal must have a deadline. You must know when to celebrate your sucess. As take for an example - You want to make 20 lakhs in six months to buy a new car. You have already decided the time limit i.e., "Six months". When you have decided this goal and the time limit, now may be  you spend very little money on the things that are not worthy, you will spend less on your expenses than before because in six months you have to complete your target. And eventually your goal will be succeeded. When you set a time-bound for your goal, you can achieve your goal quicker and more easier. Your sense of urgency can make your body and mind do more hard work and putting more efforts. By putting more efforts and hard work quickly because of the time limit, you can easily achieve your goal successfully. 


4. Write your goal and make a To-Do list
When you have decided your goal, write it on a paper and stick or keep the paper in a place where you can see it everytime. Because when you will see that paper and your life goal written on it, it will continuously remind you to achieve it. And by continuously seeing that makes your goal tangible and it makes you feel that you have to achieve this at any cost! Inspite of this, use the word "will" instead of "would" in your statements while writing your goal. For example : Your goal is to reduce your expenses this year. So write your statement as - "I will reduce my expenses this year!" rather than writing it as "I would like to reduce my expenses this year." The first statement looks full of confidence and enthusiasm and has the power to motivate you. While the second statement lacks in efforts, energy and confidence.... the statement seems that it is also okay to not do this and this can sidetrack you. So always use the words which are energetic and can make you follow your goal. You can also make a To-Do list including what to do to make your goal happen. Again take the example of expenses. Your goal is to reduce your expenses, so to reduce your expenses you have to spend less on the things that are not worthy, spend less on outing, spend less while chilling or partying out with friends or family. You can also write these things on your To-Do list which can remind you what to do today (For example : Not to spend money by eating junk and unhealthy food outside at the restaurants or at the roadside food stalls) and not to spend your money on those things which are not worthy for you anymore. Thus, by making a To-Do list you can be alerted about what to follow for your current day to achieve your goal.
